One of Vietnam’s top producers and exporters of Pangasius products, Hung Vuong Corporation commenced its operation in 2003 in response to the ever increasing demand for this special product. Hung Vuong Corporation is now the leading enterprises in processing and trading in pangasius and is unique in that our operation in Vietnam has expanded from one processing plant to five affiliated plants equipped with the latest equipment and processing facilities in a relatively short period of time. The company owes most of its success to its dedication to increasing product quality and modernising production lines to provide products that follow food hygiene and sanitation regulations, preserving brand names creditability in domestic and international markets. To penetrate overseas markets, we have implemented a quality and food safety management based on HACPP standards and has been granted with European approval number of DL308, DL386, DL21,D21 and DL36 for exports to market of America and Europe. We also have our trademark registered in many countries.
Hung Vuong Corporation has a strong re-investment program for expansion and the main focus is in our processing and storage facilities and improvement of management with the aim to increase product quality to meet international standards and remain competitive.
Our company has made a number of strategic moves one of which is the success in applying the quality control system of Asiel 9001 version 2000, by BBQI marking another step forward to our company underway to perfect itself.
We are now looking at building a new 30,000MT cold storage, which will be biggest cold storage in Vietnam and the South East Asia region in 2008. Our farming area is also expected to expand to 120 hectares in 2008.
